Creating a mental wellbeing app in record time

In 2019, we started from scratch the ideation phase to create a Science-based app for mental wellbeing. 3 months later, we had an MVP ready for beta testing.
The result was Foundations, a mental wellbeing app with interactive, evidence-based activities to help users build resilience, manage stress and prevent burnout. Its content is grounded in evidence-based techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, meditation and positive psychology and curated by our team of behavioural experts.

Designing and delivering personalised, evidence-based interventions
We built a rich content library, with a variety of:
Interventions: CBT, positive psychology, mindfulness, ACT, etc.
Formats: video, audio, journaling, games, etc.
UX: In the moment activities, programmes, modules, habits , etc.

My role in this project
Collaborating with the user research team to identify: opportunities for research, insights and needs as well as working on different hypothesis.
Leading the design of different product areas: navigation, habit creation, content creation process, content modularisation…
Ensuring the design and delivery of features through organised collaboration between team members and freelancers.
Working with Product Managers, AI team as well as UXR in the process of executing the strategic position, scope and schedule of features.
Working with Engineering to draft specifications, help maintain delivery schedules, and collaborate on: storymapping, feature refinement and prioritisation.
